Your Mission (Key Sales & Technical Contributions):

  • Fuel Revenue Growth: Collaborate directly with the field sales team to understand customer business challenges and strategically position 1Finity’s optical and wireless networking solutions to drive successful deal closures.
  • Empower the Sales Team: Create and maintain robust sales tools (e.g., business case value/ROI tools, impactful network diagrams, efficient configuration tools, etc.) that enhance the sales process and demonstrate quantifiable customer value.
  • Strategic Collaboration: Partner closely with sales engineering, product management, and marketing to develop and execute winning sales strategies, contributing to a strong pipeline and market penetration.
  • Influence & Educate: Deliver compelling technical presentations and demonstrations to customers, showcasing the power and ROI of 1Finity solutions.

We're Looking for a Sales-Driven Technologist Who:

  • Possesses a strong interest in technology combined with an innate ability to quickly grasp and articulate complex technical concepts in a sales context.
  • Exhibits exceptional communication, presentation, and teamwork skills for influencing stakeholders and closing deals.
  • Holds a Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Enthusiastic learners with 0-2 years of professional experience, or demonstrated capabilities through internships, academic projects, or volunteer work.
  • Has demonstrated their sales capability through a formal Sales Certification (e.g., PPS/USCA) and/or active participation in Sales Competitions.
  • Is proficient in Microsoft Office applications, with a knack for creating impactful sales collateral.

Bonus Points:

  • Tech Sales Background: Experience in a tech sales or customer support role, with an understanding of our industry.
  • Optical Networking Know-How: Familiarity with optical networking technology and its business uses, or a relevant technical degree.
  • Data & Presentation Skills: Advanced skills in sales-enabling tools such as Excel (for ROI analysis), PPT (for impactful presentations), and Visio (for professional network drawings), or experience with lead and opportunity management in Salesforce.com.

1Finity salaries are aligned to the specific geographic location in which the work is primarily performed. ​ It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the circumstances of each situation. The pay range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to: specific skills, qualifications, experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. The pay range for this position is estimated at $66,062 to $94,374 USD. Additionally, this role may be eligible for a short-term incentive based on company results and individual performance.
