Responsibilities:

  • Design, Development and integration of software components
  • Provide technical guidance to other software teams on services and tools provided by the Platform team
  • Experience with security protocols, e.g. FTP/SFTP, SSH, TELNET, RADIUS, TACACS, SSL, TLS, SAML, HTTP, HTTPS
  • Experience with NESSUS security scan and penetration scan.
  • Participate in requirement analysis, design, development, and maintenance of multiple software components of SDN controller to meet customer requirements using innovative technologies
  • Issue investigation, status, and resolution during System Test

Experience & Education:

  • Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of work experience as a Software Engineer or equivalent role
  • Hands-on experience of various communication and security protocols such as Netconf, CLI, RestConf, SNMP, SFTP, SSH, TELNET, RADIUS, TACACS, SSL, TLS, SAML and modeling tools such as Yang, Json, XML 
  • Experience with FIPS is plus but not required.
  • Experience in unit test, continuous integration (CI/CD) frameworks
  • Familiarity with Git, JIRA, Agile/Scrum development methodologies. 
  • Experience in Linux or any equivalent UNIX flavors, and familiar with container and Micro Services experience development skills.
  • Familiar with the CIA model as applicable to embedded systems
  • Aware of secure coding guidelines and practices for C/C++ etc
  • Aware of penetration testing to surface vulnerabilities
  • Knowledge of a variety of cryptographic methods, including encryption/decryption, digital signatures and hashing, random number generation, and key transport/agreement methods is preferred.
  • Knowledge of secure communications protocols, such as TLS, SSH, is preferred. Understand the EO-14028, has the ability to build an execution plan incorporating the EO-14028 into embedded SW development life cycle/processes Ability to guide and influence the global software / product development teams to build security/EO-14028 into daily engineering activities
  • Excellent communication and coaching ability to train and elevate overall organizational savviness on software security through requirements/specifications, SW DevOps workflow/processes, verifications and automations etc. phases.
