About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced product manager with a strong background in software-defined network management technologies to spearhead the evolution of the Virtuora SDN platform. Ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise to the Virtuora product line management team and will be responsible for the managing and driving the platform product roadmap. The role possesses a unique blend of business and technical skills, a big-picture vision, and the drive to make that vision a reality.
Responsibilities and Success Factors:
- Drive vision, strategy and roadmap for Virtuora cloud platform evolution enabling Fujitsu’s network automation solutions
- Lead software product lifecycle for Virtuora platform from conception, roadmap planning, feature prioritization, software release to maintenance
- Collect, define and prioritize customer and market requirements in core platform areas such as scalability, high-availability, data migration, diagnostics, logging, security etc. and translate those into epics and user stories
- Drive platform feature implementation by providing guidance on customer requirements, use-cases and acceptance criteria to software development teams
- Work closely with platform engineering team as customer proxy and participate in scrum meetings (bug reviews, sprint demos etc.)
- Define and influence common platform infrastructure tooling and best practices in driving synergies across various Virtuora applications
- Support customer engagement & pre-sales activities including product presentations, demos, proof-of-concept evaluations, trials, RFP responses, pricing proposals etc.
- Collaborate closely with various stakeholders (tech/product support, application teams, sales, engineering etc.) in guiding customer deployments, platform installation/upgrades, cloud migration and security assessments

Maximize business performance for Fujitsu by accelerating the success of Fujitsu software products at Customers
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's (or higher) degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- 10+ years experience in Software Product Management, Software Development, Systems Engineering, Systems Integration, or equivalent
- Experience and familiarity with large scale distributed systems, microservices architecture, and cloud-native technologies (Kubernetes, Docker etc.).
- Experience with EMS/NMS network management systems, SDN platforms, OSS/BSS, network analytics/assurance or workflow automation tools is highly desirable
- Familiarity with networking protocols such as Netconf/YANG, RESTCONF, TL1, SNMP, gNMI/gRPC etc
- Experience with RKE2 Kubernetes or other container orchestration platforms (OpenShift, AKS, EKS etc.)
- Proven experience in customer facing roles deploying software platforms to production and/or enabling cloud migrations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with proven ability to collaborate cross functionally
- Comfortable working in a team-oriented, highly collaborative virtual environment that is geographically distributed
