At Fujitsu Network Communications, the Cloud Architect will formulate strategy, and design for the evolution of our software portfolio to cloud-native environments and implementations.  The ideal Cloud Architect candidate will have extensive understanding of cloud computing technology, as well as experience designing and transferring applications to the cloud. They should have a positive attitude and excellent communication skills to effectively share knowledge and influence internal teams.  The candidate should also demonstrate experience in working with customers to understand their needs, and ability to help customers develop their own digital transformation strategies.


•    Create and execute strategy for cross-portfolio cloud native platform evolution, supporting existing and new software products
•    Gather customer requirements, and influence and help them embrace Cloud technologies
•    Formulate monetization and pricing strategy for cloud-based software solutions
•    Oversee migration of existing products and creation of new products in a cloud environment
•    Engage and contribute with industry to identify trends that shape our cloud strategy
•    Develop high-level product specifications with attention to system integration and feasibility
•    Ensure that Fujitsu cloud native products seamlessly flow through Fujitsu and customer specified CI/CD pipelines, and help our customers embrace these new approaches to software deployment
•    Ensure our software products meet all requirements of quality, scalability, security, modifiability, extensibility, etc.
•    Successfully communicate concepts, strategies and requirements to development teams, customers, and partners
•    Oversee progress of product and platform development to ensure consistency with strategy and product architecture & requirements
•    Determine strategy for industry group participation and contributions


•    BS/MS in Engineering, Computer Sciences or related field
•    5+ years of experience with deploying software onto cloud platforms, including scaling, security, containers, high availability, etc.
•    Experience with major public cloud provider platform (Azure, AWS, or GCP) in a technical capacity as it relates to best practices, security, and cloud native services.
•    Experience of modernization and migration of large scale applications to cloud native implementation
•    Experience in all relevant cloud software technology and concepts
•    Experience with evolving to CI/CD processes (and helping customers to adopt)
•    Technical leadership skills to influence internal and external audiences
•    Excellent communication and presentation abilities
•    Program and risk management skills


•    Relevant certifications
•    Demonstrable experience of managing large cloud-based implementations
•    10+ years of experience with deploying software onto cloud platforms
•    Proven experience as a software architect
