We are seeking a DevOps and Software System Test Manager in Richardson, Texas



  • Lead and support both short- and long-term softare development factory infrastructure programs, strategy, functionality and operational management practices
  • Lead and support both short and long-term software system tests; Work closely with the systems / software solution architects to build end-end requirement-test-automation portfolios for 1FINITY/FSS products/solutions
  • Support multiple concurrent 1FINITY/FSS projects; co-create/co-develop initiatives that calls for multiple functional organizations involvement with high impacts to the overall business & operation efficiency
  • Envagulize engineering and operational excellence, establish metrics for quality and velocity; passion to drive effective changes, institutionize policies, processes and best practices;
  • Work with department head to set expectations. You’ll manage risks, dependencies and tradeoffs inevitable in complex project delivery and operation excellency
  • Be a coach, thought partner, and sounding board: “Coach, don’t tell.” You will help your team build problem-solving skills by practicing reflective listening, asking good questions, and giving timely, direct and kind feedback and encouragement.

  • 7+ years Engineering experience including product development, delivery, support at technology-led organizations; We’ll want to hear how your reports developed and grew under your leadership, and how you made your work environment inclusive and psychologically safe.
  • Demonstrates thought leader-level abilities with, and/or a proven record of success and specialization;
  • Has a track record of shipping software on time. Proven to operate effectively in a geographically&culturally diversed organization. Experience designing software architectures for scalability, reliability and performance
  • Ability to attract talent and develop high performing teams. Proven recruiting experience as a hiring manager. Authentic passion for people management and mentorship
  • Solid understanding and staying up-to-date with technical standard/forums and protocols in both the telco and hyperscaler industries, has breath & depth on infrastructure as a code and infrastructure design, development and maintainence.
  • Hands on experience on script languages including Python, Java, Atlassian tool sets, CICD Pipelines, testframeworks such as Robots, Automation toolsets such as Ansible, RANCID, microservice ecosystems in a cloud-native environment.
  • Knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
  • Demonstrated research, critical thinking and problem solving skills via prior work experience. Must have a strong work ethic, integrity and work extremely well in a team environment; Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment
  • Great verbal and written communication skills. You should be able to explain your approach and the impact of your work to non-technical stakeholders in a way that is clear to them.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in CS / EE / CES; Master’s Degree or Ph. D. Degree a plus;
