Mobility Control Application Product Line Manager

 

Fujitsu is a world leader in open network technologies!  The Mobility Control Application PLM role offers you the opportunity to be on the cutting edge of O-RAN and 5G as they reshape the communications landscape. As member of our Fujitsu team, you’ll set the course for intent based, open, and automated RAN networks.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Help define and execute the overall strategy for mobility software control offerings
  • Help define, collect, and prioritize market & customer requirements
  • Domain-specific Mobility App overall ownership including full product lifecycle
  • Manage the application roadmap consistent with overall Mobility Controller and SMO roadmaps
  • Customer presentations/Interactions
  • Contribute to RFP responses
  • Communicate requirements and priority to the engineering scrum teams
  • Defect prioritization
  • Release notes, customer doc input, technical presentations
  • Product general release activities including internal training of product support teams
  • Coordinate customer lab evaluations/demos/acceptance management
  • Increase Fujitsu visibility and credibility in mobility networking space

 

Qualifications

  • Experience with pre-5G RAN (eNodeB) and Core (EPC) for macro, small/femto cells deployment and operationsin HW/SW vendor or CSP environment is a must
  • Working knowledge of 4G/LTE and 5G related 3GPP, O-RAN, and BBF specifications is required, including operations
  • Experience with software development and or product management of EMS/NMS/SDN Controller domains required
  • Knowledge of Ericsson and Nokia DRAN/CRAN offerings desired
  • Product management experience required
  • 10+ years of experience in networking, preferably in the mobility domain (RAN, Core)
  • Bachelor’s degree desired, master’s degree is a plus
