Job Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and engage in building the ORAN lab from a management, technical and hand-on perspective.  Handle all materials orders, services and other activities related to building the lab.
  • Manage day-to-day Lab activities and customer/partner engagement.
  • Hire Lab staff including lab network operations, Test Engineers and ORAN SMEs, software development engineering and Q/A engineers.
  • Create training programs for Lab staff to maintain and grow ORAN network and OSS expertise.
  • Manage all partners/carriers, CU/DU/OSS provider and systems integrator lab engagements including SOW, lab configurations supporting SOW and day to day activities with each customer and partners.
  • Create security process for maintaining multiple customers/partners engineering activities in ORAN lab.
  • Ensure total data security between customer/partners projects.
  • Management of all test plans and test tool creation.
  • Management of all test processes and procedures based on customer/partners SOW.
  • Operate lab at optimum operating profit.
  • Interface with internal Fujitsu hardware and software business units
  • Research new network and OSS technologies and make recommendations for introduction to software lab.
  • Prepare lab on an on-going basis to support the latest ORAN services being rolled out by service providers and partners.



  • Bachelor degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent
  • 10 - 20 years’ experience in one or more of these areas: Lab operations, OSS, software development, network integration, OSS integration and ORAN Interoperability testing.
  • Demonstrated experience managing large & complex programs, with customer facing responsibilities
  • Experience of Software Release Management experience for product and End-to-End deployments
  • Excellent knowledge of app and/or cloud deployments and embedded product software release experience
  • Knowledge of key RU/DU/CU/EMS and NMS systems used by carriers and partners.
  • A solid understanding and practical experience of software development life-cycles with emphasis on release engineering functions
  • Proven experience working in complex projects gathering software release requirements
  • Demonstrated good understanding of software engineering fields
  • Good understanding of continuous integration, continuous delivery concepts and experience in implementing DevOps
  • Effective oral, written and presentation skills and ability to develop long-term business relationships
  • Good understanding and experience in driving build and test automation strategy
  • Multi-vendor products expertise, DELL, HPE, SuperMicro Fujitsu, Kontron, Quanta, RedHat, VMware, WindRiver, Cisco,
  • Travel as needed to support customer projects.
