The Operations Planning function is responsible for forecasting customer requirements and working with the various factories to ensure supply aligns with demand.  Key metric responsibilities include customer on-time delivery, inventory turns, slow moving inventory and forecast error. 

 

Working within the Supply Chain Organization where your primary responsibility is to manage a product family from demand recognition to shipment to the customer.  Highly visible position providing input to management and interfacing with various groups such as Purchasing, Production Planning, Engineering, Product Planning, Sales and Distribution.

 

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Management of the supply commitments from all factories
  • Forecasting customer requirements thru lead time
  • Inventory management
  • New product introduction
  • Continuous Improvement

 

Qualifications:

  • At this time, Fujitsu Network Communications will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization for this position
  • Industrial Engineering or Supply chain undergraduate degree
  • 2-5 years experience

  • Self starter who can maintain a positive attitude in a fast paced organization
  • Strong organizational, project management, and teamwork skills
  • Open to the changing needs of a continuous improvement environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal.

Fujitsu salaries are aligned to the specific geographic location in which the work is primarily performed. ​ It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the circumstances of each situation. The pay range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to: specific skills, qualifications, experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. The pay range for this position is estimated at $59,395.70 to $84,851.00 USD. Additionally, this role may be eligible for a short-term incentive based on company results and individual performance.
