We are looking for a network management professional who values connecting with people and has a curiosity-driven desire to learn. They will join the Software Business Unit Network Automation team working closely with Fujitsu Development and Sales organizations. The role requires strong collaboration and communication including internal sales and supporting external customer meetings. They will work to drive roadmap and product launch deliverables as well as support the product post-sale. Taking initiative, strong communication and organizational skills are critical to succeed in this role.  Virtuora orchestration and data analytics offerings are key products in the growth of our software business, particularly in 5G networking.  Engagements with multiple Tier 1 operators have commenced and are expected to grow into significant strategic businesses. 

 

Responsibilities & Success Factors

  • Strong background in network management and automation software
  • Formulate and build product offerings in support of strategic business development targets
  • Business case development for new product/offerings and enhancements
  • Assess market requirements and industry standards to shape offering and products
  • Strong communication and presentation skills to support customer meetings and defining requirements 
  • Drive technical product requirements from roadmap to delivery based on market and customer requirements
  • Work with the customer support teams to address field issues 
  • Managing product releases that introduce new features, and requirements  
  • Work closely with other teams/business units to software roadmap with other Fujitsu offerings (transport, wireless, services)
  • Collaborate with test teams to validate solutions and offerings
  • Manage and facilitate customer lab evaluations and demonstrations by working with Sales and internal teams to ensure customer outcomes are met
  • Contribute to customer RFP (request for proposal) responses at a technical and business level

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field is a requirement, advanced technical or business degrees are a plus
  • At least 10 years of experience in network management software industry is a requirement
  • Experience with open networking protocols, standards and models in software and associated network domains
  • Experience in product management and product development 
  • Prior experience managing software product development projects
  • Experience in customer-facing roles at a director level and above.
