The role requires proactive communication with both internal and external stakeholders.  The role works with and supports the Service Delivery Management (SDM) team, as it delivers support to the XaaS, Managed Network Services, and Maintenance Support Programs.  Additionally this role will assist the SDM team with individual project invoicing in cooperation with the Service Activation and Order Management teams.  This role includes management of the Product Change Notification (PCN) program, and report generation and distribution.

 

  • College degree, preferably in a technical subject; focus on program management and software development is a plus
  • Must have held engineering and/or project management and leadership positions (reflecting increasing levels of responsibility) in an organization of comparable size
  • 5 years project management experience including experience in large, complex, software projects
  • 5+ years Telecom experience desired
  • 5+ years customer facing experience desired
  • SAP Experience Required
  • MS Office/Excel/Project and Power Point Experience Required
  • PMP and/or ITIL Certification Preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to successfully deal with multiple tasks
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and experience working with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to work within a matrix organization (logistics/supply chain; business development; order management; software development sales; quality)
  • Managing financials (contractor RFQ/pricing; customer RFQ response; responsible for overall health of projects/program)
