JOB DESCRIPTION (Include primary purpose and major functions):

The Corporate Quality team in our Richardson, Texas office is looking for a Qualty Analyst to join our team. As part of this role, you will be challeneged to help drive innovation within our Reliability Quality team. Role includes but is not limited to identification of system deficiencies, customer satisfaction, driving issue resolution and use of analytical tools for conducting analysys and driving results and process improvements. You will:

  • Able to learn/understand basic system architechture and operation in order to define and resolve issues
  • Established analytic methods for identification of problem areas as they relate to s/w deployments, system integration and applications related to Photonics and Wirless products
  • Perform classificaiton of defect types to identify potential sources in requirements, design, configuration through reliability analysis and software bug tracking and develop counter-measure plan to address issues
  • Collaborate with PLMs, software and/or hardware engineering teams for documenting and reporting issues and final resolutions to stakeholders
  • Participate in the developemnt of processes and procedures for reporting of metrics
  • Drive corective aciton process in order to eliminate customer issues
  • Able to communicate effectively with customers (internal and external)
  • Attend/lead departmental and project meetings

This person will be assigned to a reliability quality group and work on reporting and improvement project, This reporting improvement will help better communicate our performance to our internal customers and help streamline our reporting/identfication to others.



  • Bachelors or masters in Computer Science, Business Administration or related field
  • 3-5 years experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Tools (PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Proven ability to contirbute in a collaborative environment
  • Use of data analytics for issue resolution
  • Able to utilize and analyze s/w and h/w bug tracking
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
