Responsibilities:
Participate in cloud native architecture discussions and lead Software Design discussions
Provide technical leadership to a small team of Software Engineers
Independently lead technical discussions with Business Unit for features
Develop middleware software functions.
Develop and Integrate Software, Tools, Third party software, Open source software
Well versed in modern SW development concepts (model driven development), pipelines for automation, CI/CD
Comfortable with multi-site development of Software development
Issue investigation, status, and resolution during System Test.


Qualifications:
Minimum of 15 years of development experience
Need to have a Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineer or Equivalent
Expert in C/C++, Python and Shell scripts
Experienced in Kubernetes services, load balancing, networking,OKD, OpenShift, Docker, Helm, YAML
Experienced in Open Source MANO (OSM) tool sets and concepts
Strong knowledge and dev experience in Microservice architecture, ETSI NFV architecture and standards
Exposure/Expertise in the OpenStack ecosystem
 
Any of the following will be a plus:
Experience in Embedded Linux systems with a strong understanding of multicore and multithreaded applications
Experience in distributed messaging frameworks, TCP/IP
Strong debugging skills including the use of GBD and analytical skills to understand customer issues.
Experience with the Atlassian suite of SW development tools.

Excellent communication skills.
Ability to work with different team members in the group.
Close interaction with Tech Support/Product Support/Development and System test is essential.
