The Services Portfolio Manager is responsible for the development of FNC market requirements for new and existing services business opportunities under the Carrier Services line of business within the Services Design|Build organization.  Also responsible for the financial results and the development and implementation of interdepartmental services throughout the company.  Manages the development of business plans, manages lifecycles, and services product positioning in the market place.  Oversees market research, monitors competitive activity and identifies customer needs.  Establishes pricing strategies.  Interfaces with delivery resources, capture management and sales to develop new services or enhance existing services offerings. 


  • Establishes strategies and service roadmap based on customer input, market and financial analysis. 
  • Develops customized implementation solutions for large scale customer deployments.
  • Leads business case development for future service development.  Performs and reviews financial analysis to ensure revenue and margin targets are achieved.  Works with Commercial Management and Capture Management on pricing and cost strategies to maximize revenue and profitability.  Approves pricing for proposed revenue and margin levels less than targeted levels.
  • Coordinates with customer supply chain and subject matter experts (SMEs) to develop statement of work documentation to support proposed work content.
  • Oversees service development, marketing and customer evaluation for various service programs.  Negotiates with various internal departments to ensure services are developed according to specifications, on schedule and within budget. 
  • Set priorities among requests from Sales, including benefit and risk analysis.
  • Responsible developing program level pricing, financial budgeting/modeling, and final P&L achievement for the Carrier service line of business.
  • Works with Marketing and Sales to develop and implement marketing strategies for specific customers, participate/lead in RFP responses, and delivers presentations to customers to support selling efforts. 
  • Assist in providing periodic customer business reviews for larger projects/programs
  • Develop and grow vendor relationships to support existing and new opportunities.
  • Serves as services SME for FNC internal organizations. 
  • Support FNC program managers when program or scope related issues arise.
  • Active involvement in resolving all quoting and delivery issues.
  • Oversees and ensures service quality and performance through resolution of service quality issues.  Analyzes service quality reports and action item registers to determine future service enhancements to address problems.
