We are seeking an undergraduate student in Computer Science (or related engineering discipline) for an internship in our Software Development organization in Richardson, Texas.  As an intern you will be working in a team environment developing state of the embedded software for high speed optical networking equipment.   Fujitsu’s equipment has an established reputation throughout the industry as a high quality product and is often the top choice of our customers.  Come work with our team and participate in creating these products.

 

Work you will participate in:

  • C++ based application development on Freescale PowerPC based microprocessors  
  • Debugging and testing of features developed for the networking equipment  
  • Analyzing and resolving problems identified in our products  
  • Installation, unit testing, and integration of various components/features within Telecommunication products

 

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field
  • Software development skills, C++, Real-time OS, RDBMS, OOA, OOD,
  • Familiar with ClearCase or Git etc. code mgmt. tools, MS Office Suite (Word, Power Point, Excel, etc.), familiar with test automation, and at least one scripting language (Python, PHP, Perl,…). TCL/Tk, Expect etc.
  • Working knowledge of telecommunications products will help
  • Debugging experience with embedded software is a plus
