Job Description

  • This position is for an experienced Program Manager/Project Manager with 5 years of experience.
  • The successful candidate will work as a member of the Fujitsu Network Communications (FNC) Program Management Office (PMO) Organization, assuming ownership of a development project, and daily project management assignments.
  • Projects responsibilities have an Engineering R&D focus and range from software releases to coordination of customer lab trials to new product development oversight assignments.
  • The individual will also be assigned PMO dept. activities such as applying and improving processes, tools, and analytic models which are critical to the management and reporting capabilities of the PMO organization.

 

Responsibilities & Success Factors

  • Successfully manage assigned project(s) and tasks to meet overall stakeholder commitments (ex: schedule, budget, customer requirements, etc.).
  • Demonstrate proper application of PMO methods, tools, & behaviors to meet the Fujitsu PMO governance model.
  • Deliver on assigned PMO operations activities ex/ process documents, metrics dashboards, project review status reports.
  • Prepare and present executive level project status reviews

  • Aptitude for working problems in engineering, management, and finance domains, simultaneously.
  • Preferred Tools/Process Knowledge (JIRA, Confluence, SW Development, Product Life Cycle, Agile, Waterfall Development)

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelors/Master’s Degree in Engineering, Project Management or Science, Industrial or Systems Eng.
  • PMI PMP certification desired
  • Familiarity with Networking, Software, Hardware or Systems Development.
  • Familiarity with Quality, Process Definition or Software Engineering is desired.
  • Familiarity with Agile Methodology is desired.
  • 5 years of experience.
