Job Description

Service Operations & Maintenance is looking for a new graduate engineer with skillsets in wireless networks. The selected candidate must demonstrate knowledge in wireless RAN network architecture.  Candidate must have excellent customer service soft-skills, and be able to work in fast pace environment, via the phone.

 

Accountabilities

  • Understand wireless network issues and applications

  • Able to troubleshoot via telephone or any other video conference tool

  • Must have customer service soft skills

  • Perform wireless hardware baseline configurations verification

  • Execute validation test plans on hardware

  • Execute automated test scripts in a lab and production environment

  • Perform health check on all the wireless hardware and software components

 

 

Qualifications

 

Required

  • Bachelor’s or Master's Degree in engineering with RF principals

  • 0-2 year's experience 
  • Provide in-depth technical log analysis, check network configuration, and support customer as needed

  • Cellular/Mobile Technology proficiency in 4G/5G and NR theory

  • General understanding of standard networking protocols and components such as HTTP, DNS, SRV6, and TCP/IP

  • Understanding of 4G or 5G network architecture

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Provide 24/7 support as needed for commercial Network outages and network performance issues

  • Strong and detailed analytical abilities and technical writing skills

  • Strong interpersonal skills and experience working with cross-functional teams

  • Must be able to travel a 25% of the time, or as needed

 

Desired

  • Some experience with RF carrier developments
