Software Sales Manager

 

This position is for a software sales overlay position focused on developing new business in the area of software and software related services, as a part of Fujitsu’s Network Automation Software Sales Team. Candidates should have a track record selling or marketing network automation solutions consisting of software products and services, or a strong understanding of Network Operations within the following focused market areas:   North American Telecom service providers, Data Center Operators, Hyperscalers, Enterprise and/or Verticals.  Candidates must possess a demonstrated ability to develop, qualify and close business opportunities.  This includes building relationships and interfacing with key strategic customers, helping define and drive requirements, and establishing themselves as a trusted partner to Fujitsu’s customers and internal business partners.  

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Identify, qualify and close deals for software and services in FNC’s Network Automation portfolio
  • Achieve or exceed quota and strategic objective targets for new solution introduction and sales into assigned territory
  • Work with Software Business unit & other internal business partners to define go-to-market strategies within their assigned territory
  • Articulate the business value of Fujitsu software solutions to customer executives
  • Work with Account Executives, Peers, Software & Services Business Units to help architect commercial & technical solutions for customers
  • Work with solution delivery team(s) to help define, document and drive customer requirements for introduction of new features, functions, products
  • Build working relationships and act as escalation point for new and ongoing projects during delivery and integration

 

Requirements:

  • Self-directed, motivated, high-energy individual with a passion for identifying and developing new business opportunities
  • Strong customer interaction and relationship-building skills
  • Experience selling software and software related services to Tier 1,2,3 Service Providers, MSOs, Hyperscalers, DCOs and Industry Verticals
  • Knowledge in the areas of analytics, large network operations and management, OSS/BSS, service assurance and related services.
  • Knowledge in the areas of transport and wireless networks preferred
  • Existing customer relationships within Tier 1,2,3 Service Providers, MSOs, DCOs and/or Industry Verticals
  • Strong technical sales, business case development and presentation skills
  • Ability to effectively influence internal and customer organizations
  • Ability to travel in contiguous US and Canada, up to approximately 30% of the time.
