We are looking for an experienced optical networking professional in the Cloud Infrastructure Provider (CIP) market space who is energetic, articulate, and motivated; who understands optical networking and design; who has a history of CIP optical network deployment (either working for a CIP or a system supplier to CIPs); and who wants to work in a dynamic, multi-cultural environment. Responsibilities

This position serves as a “Data Driven Management Analyst” for the Network Customer Success Unit (NCSU), reporting directly to the Head of the NCSU. Role Responsibilities

Data-driven management:

Position Description

1Finity is seeking a Solution Architect III to be responsible for the deployment, implementation and migration of new and existing layer 2 and layer 3 network network elements, across multiple OEM vendor platforms and across a wide array of customers in the telecom, public and private sector. Our Solution Architect III will be considered a subject matter expert and will support onsite and remote implementation and commissioning and migration of data networks as well as augmenting existing networks. Vendor experience needed for this role include a focus on Juniper, Cisco, Nokia and/or Ciena routing solutions. OEM Certifications including but not limited to are JNCIP-ENT, JNCIS-ENT, JNCIP-SP, JNCIS-SP, CCIE EI, Nokia SRA, Ciena CRS-P or CRS-C are beneficial for this role. Our Solution Architect team is responsible for designing, building, and operating global, intelligent network infrastructure to meet the requirements of high availability, scalability, and high-performance.

Job duties include:

Ability to read and interpret technical product documentation, product change notifications, technical bulletins and other technical publications.

Qualifications

7+ years experience with a deep understanding of OSI Layer 3 protocols and migration experience, with a general understanding of Layer 1 & 2 technologies including but not limited to longhaul DWDM transport elements, MPLS routed traffic, fixed fiber access, and metro Ethernet services from design, through integration, test and turn up, and operations.
Creation of network plans, network architecture design, detail design, element configurations and scripts, and methods of procedures.

Expert level understanding of all protocols provisioned (8031, 8032, SONET, MPLS, EVPL, TCP/IP, IPv6, BGP, OSPF, ISIS.
Familiarity with the Optical layer (including Transponders, and extensive optical networks).
